Mottie is an English picture-book app for children. We do not require child accounts, serve advertisements, use third-party advertising SDKs, or collect reading progress, vocabulary choices, or app-use analytics.
Language, reading progress, favorites, settings, and downloaded book content are stored locally on the device so the app can work. Removing the app may remove this local data.
If a parent chooses to purchase a subscription, the Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment. Mottie uses RevenueCat to offer subscriptions, verify entitlement, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an app-specific customer identifier, product and entitlement information, transaction records, storefront information, and technical information needed for those purposes under its Privacy Policy. Mottie does not send a child profile or reading history to RevenueCat.
We do not sell personal information or use personal information for advertising. We share purchase-related information only with the services needed to process and restore a parent-initiated subscription.
Mottie uses Google Forms for bug reports and feedback. When you submit the form, the inquiry category, details, and any other information you choose to enter are sent to Google. The form is configured not to collect your Google Account email address. We use submitted information to review the inquiry and improve the app. See Google's Privacy Policy.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and security logs to deliver and protect the website under its Privacy Policy. Visiting the website does not send Mottie reading progress or favorites to us.
Local app data remains until you reset it where the app provides that control or remove the app. Purchase records and provider-held information are retained under Apple, Google, and RevenueCat policies. Feedback remains as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support records, and improve the app.
You may avoid the feedback form, cancel a subscription in the applicable store, and contact us about information controlled by us. Store purchase and provider-held data may need to be handled directly by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Google Forms, or Cloudflare.
The app is designed for children to use with a parent or guardian. We do not ask children to create an account, submit a name or contact details, or view advertising. A parent or guardian should control purchases and feedback submissions and may contact us about privacy or purchases.
